Once a leader in its industry, MapQuest later found itself far behind competitors such as Google Maps and Apple Maps. I was part of a wonderful team hired to redesign everything from the ground up. I had the opportunity to work on everything from web to mobile, Apple to Android, and interfaces to map design. Revenues began to grow for the first time in over six years, and a year later, Verizon purchased MapQuest for $4.4 billion.
